AHRI 440 serves as a vital industry benchmark established by the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute, specifically designed for evaluating room fan-coil units. This standard rigorously assesses total and sensible cooling capacity, heating capacity, air flow, and power input, ensuring that equipment operates with precision and reliability. Don't be fooled by AHRI 410 certification. AHRI 410 only certifies the internal water coil's operation, NOT THE SYSTEM.

In Canada, ETL certification serves as a trusted indicator that a product complies with national safety standards, comparable to CSA and cUL/UL certifications. To ensure Canadian compliance, simply look for the small "c" next to the ETL mark, known as c-ETL.
